I am easily excited.I enjoy the rush, the tingling, the drop in your stomach when your realize that something is just so fabulous that the three hours spent researching everything about it instead of cleaning your apartment just seems logical. I am tad obsessive, but who coauthors a blog about rocking every day without being a little on the obsessed side? Currently my love, my passion, my obscene adoration is revolving around a little shop recently opened near Adams and something in downtown Chicago, Pret A Manger.  Yes, I know, my overall excitement over food reaches weird highs.  In this case, I’d like to take a moment to gush.  Pret’s philosophy is brilliant.  They make good food. They make it organic when possible, always preservative free, and they make it to be eaten the same day.  I could harp on the fact that, in and of itself, the fact that it’s an unwavering commitment to fresh good food that sets Pret apart is also what makes American society pathetic [PATHETIC], but I won’t. Beyond that comment of course.Walk into Pret A Manger and there is a tangible harmony felt as you decide what deliciousness you’ll treat yourself to.  You choose from assortment of sandwiches, cookies, and oh good lord—- the soups are orgasmic! Little booklets found on the table tote the wonderfulness found in your meal, without coming across as pretentious.  I say, let them eat better food!  And Baby, It’s Could Outside, get yourself some soup. You go Pret A Manger.-H
